And in my eyes, I don't find this to be especially beautiful... But counterpoint, if you really want a forged carbon case, this is one of the ways to get one without spending the price of a car at Audemars Piguet.

Forged carbon is cheap Some big and way too expensive brands make you think the opposite.... but it’s cheap as hell There is even a brand ( a brand I can’t stand ) that tries to make you believe a sapphire case costs 1 million and takes 6000 hrs to make .... 

Which means that it's probably mostly plastic...😉 That said, while I think Carbon Fiber may no longer be a super expensive material, different methods of manufacturing can cost differently. ...  

Care to elaborate on that? I've had my AP since 2007 and have yet to find a drawback: ...  

i do remember looking at the bumblebee and being scared off with people having their cases turn whitish and or chip. that one looks immaculate. too bad they've moved away from the material

Not all CF is created equally so I'm going to make an overly sweeping statement that will certainly have exceptions but for me I don't think the strength and weight benefits of a CF watch case outweigh the compromises of the lesser surface hardness of CF ... 

They were done in house using their own molds and ovens. Most importantly, the fibres were hand packed into the molds by skilled workers. These fibres were also top level. Additionally, the tolerances were extremely high and the case lines and edges in a ...
