Can anyone shed any light on why there are SIX minute markers between every larger 5 minute marker?
Guys,
I'm resurrecting an old thread here in the hope of getting an answer to something that has baffled me ever since I myself purchased one of these myself some years ago.
I have two Vulcain's and love the fact they are well made, reasonably priced for the high quality on offer, and rather rare and quirky. Also always loved that they were (and hopefully still are) such a small and independent manufacture.
But why on earth are there 72 "minute" markers on the dial of the white, blue and black dial version of this chronograph? And to thicken the plot further, why are there not the same 72 "minute" markers on the "vintage" limited edition of the same watch?
I am genuinely intrigued and will be delighted should anyone be able to offer an explanation as I have never seen anything similar previously.
Many thanks!!
