Sir,

Based on your story and the shortlisted variations, I would chose the WG model. Indeed, the design features are already so strong on the Ocean Chrono that the colour scheme should simply be dark to light for case, dial and strap. The rose gold case with white dial (blue indicators) and brown strap may be too many colours that distract from the structural design of the watch.

Also you would have a white case to match your other 'light-coloured' accessories (pen, cufflinks, tie-clip, belt buckle etc). You already have other coloured gold stuff.

But, hey! That's just another person's opinion. Search deep...deep into yuor soul - which would you grab from the dressing table if you could save one only from a house fire?
