The most visible changes are a thinner bezel on the second generation model in your images, and the absence of chapter rings in both subdials; less obvious is a slight increase in the dimensions of the case. The net effect is subtle, but noticeable.

The cleaner, more spacious dial matches well with the rose gold case. The luminous hands are a great addition to the piece compared to its predecessor. Finally, the slightly tweaked counter scale should be a bit easier to read, especially when the elapsed...

Seems to be very much the spirit of Glashutte Original. I'm a fan of this watch for sure.
