You might discuss the intricacies of your latest car at a cocktail party, but would probably never mention what was paid. The forum "culture" at PuristSPro reflects our founder's original intent.
While I'm in agreement with your contention that discussion of commercial aspects of watch collecting can enhance meaning, I feel that avoidance eliminates much of the abrasiveness found on other watch-centric forums.
