Pride In Ownership
Dr. No, I really enjoy your insight presented above. Something you wrote caught my eye:
"Anyone that has a manual winding Glashütte Original is in possession of an exceptionally well made piece of machinery, and can take justified pride in ownership."
While I truly understand the context of what you wrote, I would like to (very respectfully) point out that I take pride in ownership of both my manual winding and my "self-winding" GOs!
