Just be warned that I've never been a persimmon person. They are "okay." Perhaps, your fuyu will change my mind! My dad and I are going to plant a persimmon and a jujube tree in my yard, because he and my mom like those fruits, and they can't grow them in Virginia apparently. Currently the new house has a humongous orange tree (looks like they might be Valencias) and a small fig tree that looks a few years away from bearing fruit.
