You did well! That's pretty much better than the original, IMO. The Croc is ok, but it would need an old croc, matt, with " larges écailles ". This Cordovan adds some simplicity to this beautiful watch, and some sophistication at the same time. Nicely don... 

A nice pin buckle will achieve to make it perfect. I must become less and less fan of folding buckle... Best, Nicolas

That is a matter of choice, and if you choose the " integrity " of the strap, your choice is the good one, indeed. What about the comfort of the folding buckle, compared to a pin one? Best, Nicolas

. . . metal pressed against the wrist - no argument there, Nico! I've never found this to be the case personally, but there are many who find deployants uncomfortable, so for them, a pin buckle is the only way to go. Best, Art

There seems to be a simple rule about NOMOS lug widths: Manual movement --> 18mm Automatic movement --> 20mm This even applies to the upcoming model "Zurüch" (Good looking watch with a fine movement btw.) And of course there is an exception that makes the...
