Some time ago I spoke to the person who was in charge of designing the Senator Chronometer. We both agree with you, but the final committee didn´t.
My AD knows me well and offered me "his" Senator Chronometer Limited Edition, but unfortunately my piggy bank was not full enough :-(

That is the only thing I would change on my Senator Chronometer.
I am a HUGE fan of brushing the caseband while leaving polished the bezel and caseback. So much so that I inquired about the 13 piece LE executed in platinum and sold with the marine chronometer, as it did have a brushed side. Alas, it was much more cost ...
