Glashütte Original

Danke, gentlemen . . .

. . . your observations and perspectives are most appreciated.

Regarding the revision to the PanoInverse XL, the only one that I've identified so far is the brushing applied to the side of the case, in contrast to the original version . . .

. . . which is fully polished.  In this case (pun intended!), my nod goes to the new version.

Indeed, as Nicolas mused, the revisions are on the whole strikingly constructive.  I'm very much a traditionalist, but find myself preferring the latest versions of the Pano series, and to a lesser extent, the Senator perpetuals as well.  The changes to the Pano are numerous but relatively subtle, while those to the new Senators are more immediately obvious; I can see where an owner of a current PanoMatic Lunar would find little reason to change, but a Senator perpetual owner might well be driven to exchange the one for the other.

Glad that both of you were able to absorb the novelties this year!

Warmest regards,

Art
