Girard Perregaux

Very interesting report, Francois.

GP did a supperb job on the 66 Minute Repeater and the Laureato Tourbillon 3 Spinel Bridges...

2 of the few stars of this 2012 SIHH.

Of course I will come back to them with two dedicated reviews.

As for the other watches, there is one I saw which deceived me: The Chronograph.

Ok, I am not a fan of the date, in general, and I hear that GP smartly located it at 6, but, still, I find it less pure than its on date brother.

Once again, it is a matter of personal taste.

Can't wait to see a  manual movement on this 1966 Chrono!

If GP ever decides to release it.

The Vintage 45 Moonphase? A lovely case, but I find it way too big and too thick, too.

But the Minute Repeater and the Laureato.... What a pleasure to see them!

There was also a new dial on the WW TC Chrono, but just a cosmetic evolution, nothing less, nothing more.

An interesting year, at GP, I just deeply regret they leave the SIHH to go to the Basel Fair....

Best,

Nicolas
