By: Nomer : January 2nd, 2011-12:25
I'm generally not one to make rash decisions with my watches and in fact, being a member of the Purists community gives so much exposure that measured decisions must be the norm. However, I was absolutely bowled over by this GP and it has recently become ...
It is perfectly understandable

that you broke down and bought such a watch on the spur of th emoment. Great catch and a lovely watch. I think that you made the right decision. I really, really like the style of the watch. Best regards, George
The only little thing I don't like on this Chrono is ...

The date window... But this is a detail I couild live with as this Chrono is just magnificient. You did it right, Nomer, there are some pure beauties among the Chrono GP Family: This one, the cushion one ( Matt s has a superb one ) and the Vintage 45. Con...
Congratulations, Nomer, I have always liked ...

... this family of G-P chronos. Very legible, lovely sunken subdials, perfect applied numerals (and I like the larger "12") and nice pushers and case size. Congratulations, Nomer. Andrew

Seems like both went for the chronos to start the year off. Very elegant GP, can't say I know much about it. I use to own one of those Ferrari series and I have a vintage GP, but otherwise, it is not on the front of my mind....but seeing this...erm..... B...

Fantastic watch. The dial is still very clean and balanced even with the date window. You might change your mind and glad that it's there after wearing it for longer. I've got the older the version 4946, 38mm black dial and it gets most wrist time. It is ...
This is a superb chronograph.

Its balanced dial, the shape of the hands, the applied figures make this watch very classy. My only regret is the date window but well... I think I could stand it without any problem! Congrats ! Fr.Xavier
wow! just wow!..

If it wasn't for the date window that could possible be one of the nicest watches i have seen in a LONG time. same case as the SF Foudroyante, box crystal, aged dial and RG indices - wow wow wow. isnt the Flyback GP337A a manufacture movement too? it was ...
Great pickup

I love the color of the eggshell dial on this model. Very classic looking. I have the black dial 4946 and the date window really doesn't bother me as it isn't so obvious. Was this a sportier edition of this line with the brushed bezel and solid caseback?
congrats

Congratulations! This should be GP discontinued Classic Elegance line chrono with outsourced D&D chrono module.I am not too sure yours is with Flyback as normally would have been stated on the dial-RETOUR above the hour sub dial.Makes it a cleaner bet...
