Minute and seconds chrono is distinctive. GP modified the movement to make this so. This watch won watch of the years in Japan 1999. Not an easy accolade to achieve.

Solid caseback yes. No can not set the 24 hour separately. So not a GMT. Just a AM/PM indicator 😄 I just noticed mine is not set correctly. 😅 should have said 0:45 military time.
