A mix of close ups and zoomed out pics.
More zoomed out for the first pic to show how it looks on my wrist and arm for perspective. I have a 18.3 cm wrist and this is a 36 mm watch. Only 8 mm thick.
Love the tritium (it will say T Swiss T on the dial) dial that we know reissues today by the big brand try to replicate artificially with βfauxtinaβ.
So this is where proportions are so important for a watch to look balanced.
It is not the same as a 42 mm or 41 mm and that fine. Itβs not meant to be the same. It looks and feels smaller and more elegant. More like a

old school sporty dress watch. I think this is my main point β¦ variety. Think Sean Connery.
For me, Iβve come to cherish variety and being freed to wear different size watches with different looks for different occasions.
Neo-vintage for me is the perfect balance of vintage fives and modern production methods.
Laureato 8010 in steel. Blue dial. So maybe about 100 made. 1995. Not bad for 27 year old watch right π
Designed by Luigi Macaluso the owner and CEO of Girard-Perregaux from 1993-2010. See pic 3. Remember that his son, Stefano Macaluso went on to design the laureato heritage 225, 41 mm 21 years later in 2016.
History is a nice thing to know about a watch ones treasures β¦
