due to ongoing investigations, i´m sure we won´t get to see much more details very soon.
If forced to voice a guess, "random robbery" might fit.
I think throwing all the tourbillon watches in a bag to carry isn´t something one should do and even less so when there´s a slight understanding of what they actually are and how they should be treated.
It is quite a crime story, but i´d guess for everyone at GP it´s rather a traumatic experience than the stuff films are made of.
Since getting rid of a part of my personal collection (not museum pieces, though) the same way a couple of years ago and not being able to find replacements for some of them, i share the sentiments. It´s for sure a real nightmare for every watch enthusiast. And i do know there are many enthusiasts at GP, so i´m sure the happenings did go near them quite a lot!
Of course i´m curious as anyone and will try my best to share whatever can be shared!
