While the mother-in-law and wife do some quick shopping, I wait in the car and take pics of my watch. 😄 On the wrist today is my 38 mm GP 2499 silver guilloche dial which was made circa 2005. Calibre 022C0. There were 180 pieces made of this cushion shape...  

I even scored some brownie points for being so patient.

I’m glad to see so much love for GP neo-vintage pieces. They would cost many times over if released again. 🤝

Sometimes we need someone to highlight the design elements of a watch that make it “special”. The historical narrative also gives perspective. I look at these type of pieces as more than just watches. I look at them as art 🖼️ and a slice of history from a...

It’s worth getting to know GP and when you are ready, to add a neo-vintage or a production piece to the collection. I collect AP as well, but there is a certain charm that GP has over AP IMHO. Best wishes for 2025. 🤝

Proportionality is so important and even 1 mm can make a difference. The Macaluso family spent an exorbitant amount of energy on proportionality. After all, they were architects by training and race car drivers by passion… and it shows many of the pieces ... 

On the risk to bother you, since you are Singaporean resident, if you happen to visit GP dealer (Hourglass?) , you could help me to take pictures of the new 38 mm Laureato in Sage green. I Would like to see it in person or in real pictures because in the ...

Almost a grey in some lighting. I prefer it to a dark green as well. They are going for a discount already on the secondary market. 🤝
