Mine is a Ref. 6170 and also has a Cal. 47 (ETA 1256). I am not 100% sure what the letters next to the Calibre Number on the rotor mean, but I assume these are wn indication of how old the calibre batch is - mine is a 47 A, yours a 47 BF. Maybe some of th...

Yes, the font is great. Slightly italicized. Or is that my imagination? I like the hands also. Must give you a lot of pleasure.

Indeed, it is a great watch.

You are right, the font of the numerals is slightly tilted to the right and the highlights are the open and curled 6 and 9. Blued hands on eggshell patina dial also work really well for me.

Thank you very much for the nice reply! :)

Ah yes …

The deep diver Gen 1 GP Deep Diver first generation from 1957 with chevron indexes and radium lume. I know it. Difficult to find. And condition is paramount. FYI, I just saw a lunar dial listed on chrono24 yesterday. I can see the appeal of UG vintage. Ex...

Condition Condition Condition You are 100% right - that is paramount and makes it even more hard but also rewarding to collect super rare pieces like the 1st Gen Deep Diver. I mean I would also love a nice Rolex 5512 or 5513, but to buy one in great origi...
