I visited the manufacture in 2007 and we saw many remaining watches for the past collections that they were preparing to sell them to their workers.
I asked if there was any 4946 left as it was not produced anymore.
There was none.
A few weeks later they called me saying that they had all the parts available to assemble one for me. The previously sold dials were no longer available so they offered me to choose amongst prototype dials. Apparently they made three of this one.
And I bought it.
That was another era.

This is quite interesting to me. Those were the days when GP was a flexible and would offer special dials and such when asked. It make sense now when you said 2007. I put some pics of your prototype dial next to the final production one. I see two differe...
