Let me explain ...
Elio,
My watchmaker comes from a family of watchmakers of long tradition and he, personally, is a legendary recover of cases.
On a summary, he is an artist of watch polishing.
Of course, the gaskets were replaced.
In respect to corrosion, everyone that sells me a watch knows that corrosion on the inside implies on immediately return.
In respect to the strap, the original one (not in great shape) is a crocodile strap that I don't plan to wear.
The strap that I'm wearing is a 21/18mm (this watch lug space is 21mm) Taikonaut pseudo Kevlar that is very hard to find.

Great watch , Nilo! Love a story behind an acquisition, brings such soul to a timepiece. Always wondered about the thickness of the case, do u know if that is driven by design ? Pity about the absence of a date though ;)

Stefan, You are correct. The chronograph minute hand is a red arrow. The strap is some sort of leather + synthetic material. Very nice on warm and wet weather. Cheers, Nilo

This watch seems to accept any type of strap and looks great. Brown, black, sporty or dressing. Everything looks wonderful on this watch. Mine is now with a black calf by C. F. and looks serious and dressy. Cheers, Nilo
