My wrist is 18 cm so it shows a little more of the bracelet vs case from the top view. It works well because of the fantastic integration between case and bracelet.
I suspect they beefed up the 38 mm by 2 mm to make it more “sporty” vs elegant and kept the dial size the same. The hands and applied indices are slimmer in the 8010 and thus further gives a more elegant feel to the entire watch.
We have a chap in our GP Fanclub that has the full gold with grey dial. It’s a lot of gold. I like it but not sure if I love it. Would need to try it on. But definitely something I would consider getting if I ever came across one for sale. I would be my 5th laureato 8010 if I did get it.
