I think thats a good decision.
I came to the conclusion after picking up some watches from the safe and then look up when was the last time i worn it . Some didn’t get loved for 4 or 5 years and some almost never . And the new pieces that i want nowadays are priced so high that its almost impossible for me to buy them without creating funds for it . Also like to start enjoying what i got and not creating safe queens

Super shot and wholeheartedly agree on the case!
The dial is quite eccentric, which I like, though the seconds/minute/hour hands could be made more legible.

Seemed to address some of the dial / hands apprehension, still feels large case small movement situation no matter how you weigh the dial proportions
It feels to me like the last experimental era of the brand 😊🤷🏻♂️
Maybe not every reference was a full success but there was a vitality about the brand that subsequently petered out IMHO. So many experiments and watches…
Was it the reduction to integrated bracelet steel watches…

I really like this Girard Perregaux 1966 Dual Time Rose Gold.
I think the rose gold has a wonderful rich hue and I find the dial to be very legible and clean not cluttered at all. Marc

Though very different from my time-only Omega Renaissance1894, something about markers, the rg case and the bi-color dial of that GP reminds me of it. ...

Yes together with more watches i hardly worn or that didn’t get the love they deserve .
I made the decision last year to only keep watches i want to wear and all unloved ones need to go to create funds for a few grail pieces which i otherwise couldn’t or wouldn’t buy. Difficult decision for a 30+ year hoarder 😬
