Girard Perregaux 1966 Enamel in White gold. A wonder.

Warmer in rose gold, colder in white gold, both being very appealing and highly tempting, I must say.

The white gold:

The rose gold:

And the only reason which made me doubt, the see through case back... I would have much preferred a solid case back, to hide this too small movement.

But, still, I am tempted. The depth of dial dial, its warmth and its elegant case speak very strong to me.

I love these models very much, but have to agree that the see through casebook is a faux pas when the movement is so disproportionately small movement. But hey, Patek does this kind of things all the time, and people scream genius.

True, too. :) [nt]

I do like enamel dial, however I much prefer central seconds to off center ones despite it comes with date and without enamel . And yes, 38 mm for 1966 is the perfect size! It sits really well on the wrist. ...

Thanks, J K. [nt]
