“Lunar” “Dot” “Playboy” dial

 

Inspired to get mine out. My wife wears it most of the time.

I recently switched it to an original GP bracelet from the same period.

The bracelet was made by Gay Frères who as we know was the famed bracelet maker for the likes of Patek to AP to GP and others (They were bought by Rolex in 1998 😢).

The lunar dial was never offered by GP on a bracelet but if “the shoe fits” then why not right ?

This is the only vintage watch that I have … I tend to focus on neo-vintage. It was in excellent condition and from what I can tell (and was told by some vintage watch friends) all orginal parts and dial etc. One may notice that mine has the full white hands. Some came with half white hands. Different variants and both authentic and true to the manufacture original specifications.
