FP Journe User Manual says, "If the watch has been running for more than 56 hours, it is essential to continue winding until is it fully locked, even if the power reserve indicator is positioned at 0 on the graduated scale."
My sincere apology if this seems like a trivial, even silly, question but just so i am totally clear :
- Must the winding be done until it is "fully locked"? I typically wind my CS only up to or near the "0" mark and do not go any further for fear of damaging the presumably fine mechanism. What does "fully locked" means - is there supposed to be some sort of click sound to indicate that it is in fully-locked mode? From the text in the user manual, it seems to suggest i should wind even beyond the "0" mark? Even if i OUGHT to do this, would it spoil the mechanism if i don't?
I know i may be nit-picking, but as said, i would like to be clear and would appreciate any help/suggestion to that end.
Many thanks.
