I'll have to try the Yamazaki 12, too. It's funny, I recently saw a bottle of Hakushu 12 that was slightly more expensive than the first bottle of Hakushu 18 I bought about four years ago. I wish more people drank Scotch

The Yamazaki is fantastic...
...and impossible to find anymore. I would argue that the Yamazaki 12 is almost/just as good for a lot less. But even that is almost extinct.

Hakushu is very good...
...but with a much ‘smokier’ flavor. I prefer Yamazaki but drank both when they were affordable and easily available.
