Chicken Noodle Soup
This homely dish was kicked up a notch last night when my wife came in with a bag full of cherry or grape tomatoes from the neighbors. I cut them in half, laid the cut side down on the skillet in olive oil with a clove of garlic. After they melted into a golden/orange goodness, I added a bit of white wine, a handful of fresh basil, and the remains of the chicken noodle soup I made the day before.
Fantastic!
We ate it while watching Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein for the first time in 10 years, and laughed all the way through. Except for Frau Bloucher. (Horses whinney)
