F.P. Journe

I have admired FP Journe watches for some time, and especially the Calendrier. I just received this watch from a fellow collector and am enjoying its unique appeal!...

I tried on both sizes in platinum and liked the 40mm better, but think 38 mm works best for the rose gold. I think the platinum and grey/silver dial tend to blend together, so the extra metal creates more of a delineation. The RG bezel, by contrast, is ea... 

The RG/RG combo is beautiful. This particular dial appears darker then most giving it an even distinguished look. Nice!!!

I am slightly biased............But it's one of my favourite pieces.

I have a soft spot for rose gold - it is in my view currently a contrarian metal choice but one that is gathering momentum and I bet we will see a gradual march away from the popularity of white metals to something a bit warmer in the coming years...but o... 

It must look fabulous on a medium to dark skinned wrist IMO! Cheers, Anthony
