I'm happy to hear the minute hands are not connected. Just incase if I wanted to go to India which is GMT + 4:30 with my home-time set at GMT - 8:00 (California, USA)
I always assumed they weren't connected because there are two crowns. I am assuming that one crown adjusts the time for the second time zone and the other adjusts the time for the first.
Question about the Resonance
I went to a NYC AD and the salesman explained that the Resonance is set to one time zone on both dials and the actual time is the mid-point between the two....???? Last night I read on this site that it is set for two time zones and the two dials are sync...
Hopefully somebody with far more knowledge.........
Will come along soon Angelo and answer your question. All I can say for a fact is that the two dials can either be set to one time or can run independently of each other.
Funny description
The resonance has 2 dials and both can eb set independently of each other for 2 different time zones. In fact you can set any times you want, eg 3pm on the left dial and 8.37 on the other dial. Its totally up to you how you set it
