Not at all bothered if you doubt resonance in FPJ watches. I still feel like I'm learning even about other double balance watches and how they work. Out of interest if I understood correctly you do think resonance occurs when the balances are linked like in the Armin Storm but not in the FPJ because the lightness of the balance spring is so tiny Vs the mass of the main plate so the idea the vibrations can influence this way is not possible in your view?
Is this right? Or do you have larger doubts about resonance in general in a wrist watch as I did find your point about the metronomes and if the table were moving like on my wrist very valid and need to think about that some more.
Lastly for a bit of fun if you want, as everyone seems to label you the Journe hater. Would you humor me, if you had to be given 1 Journe watch (which your not allowed to sell, trade swap etc etc) and must wear atleast 1 day every week. Of all the watches he has even made which would you pick and why?

I think you may be mistaken...
The escapements are not connected in the joure (as they are in other examples you mentioned). The journe has two separate second hands with nothing but the vibrations of the main plate connecting them. There is no "averaging" happening with the journe. Se...
