It was a genuine pleasure

The mother of pearl dial looks very interesting with the printing directly on it. Just imagine how many are rejected in the manufacturing process . Thank you Christian.

Exactly right, my friend

 By: ChristianDK : September 11th, 2019-14:45
And I happen to to be told by the guy in charge of dials that 75% break when they cut them. And each blank is quite expensive. Add the lost labor to that.

Absolutely lovely photos Christian!

Now I can see why you mention photography as one of your passions! My only qualm with FR Journe and it is the only one is that I wish they had continued to make 38mm watches. Yes I know for some unknown reason, they did not sell many 38mm watches but I th...

I can very well understand your point, Sham

 By: ChristianDK : September 11th, 2019-14:54
My wrist is larger than average but a 38 mm works very well. For some model I prefer 40. The Chronometre Bleu is 39 - it always looks great on almost everyone wishes that FPJ would go back to the old 38/40 sizes. In my eyes I was a perfect constellation.

Thumbs up! [nt]

Yes they are very powerful pieces and come across with both elegance and sportiness. Great to see you here. Welcome ๐Ÿ™

Superb, pal!

 By: TheMadDruid : September 11th, 2019-14:02
Now, Iโ€™d like you to go back to the Boutique and get me every one of them.

No canโ€™t do ..

 By: ChristianDK : September 11th, 2019-15:09
Because a very elegant, French couple came in just as I had shot the Nacre and bought it. Especially the centigraphe - I cant believe it hasnโ€™t been picked it up yet. Thank you, my all time favorite Druid. So glad to have you around.

Drat!

 By: TheMadDruid : September 11th, 2019-15:44
Well, Iโ€™ll take the rest. By the way, I figured out why I didnโ€™t find the Boutique when I was in Paris in April. The Elysee Palace (I had no idea that was what it was) was blocked off from pedestrians. From your photo I can see the Boutique was on the oth...

That would be great! [nt]

Thanks Christian. This iteration of the Centigraphe is by far the most appealing to me.

PT and Black Dial just works so well. In contrast, for the Optimum I think the RG and Black Dial is the winner.

You are very welcome, Dear Jay. It really sings to me as well. I was very tempted...

 By: ChristianDK : September 11th, 2019-19:00
For the Optimum, I seem to be running around in circles at the moment. The boutique edition is definitely a top contender. My only issue is that I prefer to wear white metals.

I prefer white metals too, but having seen Padjโ€™s in the metal I was blown away.

 By: Jay (Eire) : September 12th, 2019-03:52
The black dial, and itโ€™s a big dial, really takes the eye away from the gold case. Itโ€™s in no way blingy or in your face. You really need to see one on your wrist, which might not be so easy unfortunately.

The line starts in New Jersey.

 By: TheMadDruid : September 12th, 2019-11:22
Tickets are $5.00 each.

I agree with your assesment - it really ties in well with the Remontior on the dial

 By: ChristianDK : September 12th, 2019-11:35
plus Black and gold just seem to work really well together. But you, of course, must also have to take in to consideration that he is a rapper.

See, I am Wonder Mike, and I'd like to say hello

i plan to be there this weekend, thinking of getting a strap on CS to tone it down...something tan/brownish... I'm intrigued by the Chronometre Optimum...killer ! Best, mahesh.,

Great idea, Mahesh!! To get one too dark, I think!?

 By: ChristianDK : September 12th, 2019-05:03
Jean Rousseau also do nice work. they have the exact specs for Journe straps. The CO is haunting me, but I need to take it easy for a little while and sell some pieces first. Thank you Best Christian

Christian, you're doing a masterful job of keeping FPJ at the top of my wishlist ๐Ÿ˜‚
