Line sport

 By: lykoxx : December 4th, 2020-07:10
Hello, Without rubber the Line sport has lost herDNA. For me the news models are more sport-chic than realy sport. Isn’t it. I can wear my ARS doing VTT. Motorbike. It’s light and confortable.

Thanks for bringing this up :-)

 By: ChristianDK : December 4th, 2020-10:22
I can see your point! Strong argument. Definately the identity is stronger with the rubber inserts ... However, personallty, I prefer the Line Sport without. I can see how it was an important part of the look but I still think it is a very recognizable an...

Without a doubt, the Linesport is just as lovely as the rest of the FPJ lineup

And, the titanium is super light and super comfy (the right choice IMO): But today, I am still sporting this Havana: ...

Oh, yes, Viken. We have been discussing the Rattrapante often as we both have a lotof love for this one....

 By: ChristianDK : December 4th, 2020-10:31
I thought at first, it was odd to put it in a "sports" watch because it is such a delicate complication.- Except - Sports watch is a very different concept from a tool watch (like a Rolex). It A Sports watch is merely a more informal look ( like a sports ...

Love the octasport

For the longest time I thought I was the only one who liked this model. The confusing bit was journe said years ago that this watch was surface swimmable. Now they told me no when I asked a month ago. Even more confusing is my wife likes it. Calls the yel...

Ronald McDonald Edition...

LOL! Photo: F.P.Journe ...

Yes 👍

I’ve been told by several Boutique people that it is wearable in the pool.

 By: TheMadDruid : December 4th, 2020-08:28
More problematic may be your need for two of them to keep your mate happy. That could be pricey.

Yea just odd that they most recently said splash not swimmable.

 By: Dchang81 : December 4th, 2020-10:00
When I got the elegante they said definitely swimmable but not the ARS2. Definitely confusing when it’s coming from the brand boutique

Haha. No you are def not the only one. I like it a lot

 By: ChristianDK : December 4th, 2020-10:34
Im a bit confused reg the surface swimming. Who did you ask? I will be happy to ask in the manufacture. If your wife likes it, thts a pass! HAGWE!

Years ago the boutique told me surface swimming is fine as long as you don’t touch the crown

 By: Dchang81 : December 4th, 2020-11:11
They also told me the elegante definitely surface swimmable with the screw down crown. I wanted to be sure since I would wear it to work daily and I wash my watches after so I asked again contacting journe. They referred me to the boutique who said no jus...

My sentiments exactly

When I first saw the Line Sport collection and the pieces were available, I wasn't too impressed. I much preferred FP's dressier models on straps. But I have warmed up to them as well since then.

Same process as you guys

The current ones are just too big for me. It's the prior, 42mm Line Sport watches that I've come around to coveting!

Happy Weekend, Christian and Forummers!

My CB which has been sidelined for a few months. Giving the CS some attention recently. ...

Lovely, Mike. I remember you wore the CB during lockdown

 By: ChristianDK : December 4th, 2020-10:37
The CS is probably more versatile but we cant live without the CB

Uh, no.

 By: TheMadDruid : December 4th, 2020-14:51
But I have it on other colors! 😊

I was feeling goofy 🙃

 By: TheMadDruid : December 5th, 2020-14:18

I love the sport models.

 By: shafran : December 4th, 2020-09:06
Here is mine. ...

So nice!

 By: ChristianDK : December 4th, 2020-10:38
The RG probably has my favorite dial of the three (love all three) HAGWE my friend. Christian

All in on Line Sport!

 By: Journe1304 : December 4th, 2020-12:41
The lack of screw down crown was the big thing holding me back for a long time, but I got over it and decided I’d allow it to get wet (such as at the water park with the kids) but not take it full-blown swimming. I’ve been fine so far. A secondary concern...

Hehe, I knew you would like this tread. You have a real love affair with your Sport!

 By: ChristianDK : December 4th, 2020-13:14
How much wrist time does it get percentage wise? 60? Ok I know you own other cool watches as well. Have a great weekend my friend Christian

It’s kinda like kissing the frog, that turns into a prince(ss) !

In honor of the sporty Journe. My most worn watch of this entirely crappy year! ...

Aaargh - kicking myself

 By: ChristianDK : December 5th, 2020-00:38
That picture is too good. Very much my taste, Jay! HAGWE!

Starting to love Linesport myself.

 By: jamyblu : December 5th, 2020-05:57
I never liked the the design of linesport before until recently. I just started to think that this line is the coolest of all the sports watches (maybe biased being a Journe lover), especially in titanium and without the rubber bumpers. It's as sporty as ...

The rattrapante is an amazing piece.

 By: ChristianDK : December 5th, 2020-22:19
Even quite good value, relatively speaking.

I love my ARS2!

 By: Tim-KW : December 5th, 2020-08:39
This is an amazing daily driver! It’s super lightweight, comfortable, and wears smaller than it 44mm size. And the yellow dial makes it a “fun” casual timepiece. ...

🔥🔥🔥🔥

By: India Whiskey Charlie : December 5th, 2020-12:51

So good. If they had retained the smaller case (42) I would have been all over this one.

 By: Jay (Eire) : December 7th, 2020-05:44
Personally I thought this was one of those sleepers in the collection as it was dismissed by many, first for just being in the Sport line and then also because I don’t think one sees how well this works unless one sees it in the metal. Enjoy it.
