It is definitely not a watch that grabs attention immediately, thanks to the small case size and the dial (most of the space is the smoked crystal). I’ve always found it an easy watch to wear because of this.

The watch, the strap the sneakers. It’s so freaking cool and I would love to have this piece. Sadly the price has put it out of reach. Do wear it, even if only occasionally. It’s so you.

Is one of my favorites!!! Didn’t know you had it…but definitely a seasonally particular piece for me. Would love to see it someday…

Next time, remind me and I will be sure to bring it along.

A lot of watch companies make a tortue case. Cartier, Patek Philippe, Chopard, etc. But this one is my favorite out of all of them! Combined with that super cool digital display, this might be the coolest of them all!

We can thank Cartier for this. For me, up to now, this is still the best tortue case I have had on my wrist.

This is one of my favourite Journes. The movement is fantastic and mesmerizing.

Obviously a favourite of mine too. For me, I tried to think about which references really represented the entirety of F.P.Journe. A Vagabondage needs to be part of that.

What would be next that really represents FPs work? Maybe a FFC is next in your collection?

What I’m really missing is an automatic movement, and one could argue an Optimum should be in every collection. That will not happen for me for several reasons not least that the retail price on the Optimum is way beyond my self imposed upper bound for a ... 

And the choice of strap is so spot on. Just one of those ultimate watches. Not a daily wearer, so there should be no guilt in keeping it nicely stored away for those special days.

This one was never for daily wear, that was always true and so it had been from the start a special watch for certain occasions. The problem in recent years is that there have been a limited number of those occasions ! So maybe it’s less a Watch collectin... 

This beast during the holidays; but I am glad you brought out “early”. I disagree with others; you should wear it more often 🤣
