The Clock was made cirka 1795.- start 1800
The watch was made by an English watchmaker, Peter Green, who settled in Denmark in 1795. The watch was made shortly thereafter.
It’s a children’s playground in Manchester. The slides looked like space rocket launchers.

But I find the speed master dial to be one that always pleases me, it’s the combination of markers and those hands. Enjoy “Madchester” !

So pure the Optimum. A dream.
It brings so much pleasure and feels like a very “serious” watch.
For me, not for every day wear but like enjoying a fine bottle of wine or a special meal. You have to be in the mood to enjoy it and then it’s such a great feeling. Hope you’re having a great weekend my friend.

I’m a little torn between this one and the new iteration with the black dial. I feel this one maybe shades it for me.

I really like the black dial as well. Only solution is to own both, so I may have do that eventually!
Yes, I have seen the new black one.
Both are nice, but I wouldn’t trade my white one for the black. I would consider adding the black one later on though.
I need to put the orange back on, maybe another few weeks and in time for fall.
It’s a great combo. It was the first colorful strap I bought for a Journe, in 2016 or 2017 I think.
