In a fine collection of Panerais, this one should indeed be considered.

The Mare Nostrum never really caught on with me
for some reason but I appreciate it for what it is. The bezel, case, and shape of the chronograph pushers always looked strange to me. Cheers, Anthony
That is indeed what a lot of people said when it was released.
It was not very well welcomed, at its time. The Luminor did eat all the other Panerai offers, too. Best, Nicolas

PAMs??? These are not PAMs, but Pre Vendome watches.

It is a codification which started in 1997.
Before 1997, the codiification started with 5218 - then the number of the watch ( Logo: 201 / A, Marina Militare: 202 / A, Luminor Marina: 203 / A and so on... ). Since 1997, you have PAM then a number corresponding to the watch ( Luminor Marina: 1, Lumin...
