Of the three types of CK-2777, this is the so-called FA-arrow. These are dials that the MOD used to replace the original radium dials (called THIN-arrow) and produced by `Mr Davis in the UK, circa 1956. Only few radium dialled thin -arrows exist. The thir...  

The luminous on the standard fat arrow is quite ugly, and going towards green tones. Many got it relumed, and some artists can make it as grainy or puffed as they want, including the colour. I know of two italian watchmakers who have a stock of old hands ...

many years ago... "overpaying by many hundreds..." chuckle... I never wore it, literally, never, then sold it like a fool... May I say, the condition was even nicer than this? And many military collectors told me it was the nicest they'd ever seen??? And ... 

This was one of them... but I kept one watch that covers all my regrets... thanks God.

I think the watch shown is not a radium hands watch but a tritium one. Here is a picture of mine taken last year but in the same aeroplane I coincidentally flew yesterday (of course wearing the Omega) to celebrate the glorious UK sun of the first day of s...
