Time for repair
I pull the bracelet off my beater and check it out before it goes to Michael Young.
Here is a few before pics.

I have beat this bracelet for years so I guess it's time to give it some love.

It’s always good to hear about this sort of issue and how to fix it.
The problem is
when the bracelet is wearing too loose the problems begins. Both the pins and the links get damages. Michael really knows how to get those bracelets a new life.

Sounds correct...
But it is more the abrasive effect of the tiny sharp crystals rather than a chemical one, so always best to rinse after salt water I say. Cheers, Tim
