The Lamborghini Urus SUV made its world premiere today
Ed Woo first posted up the news on the Lamborghini Urus SUV 5 years ago here; and after an arduous wait, Lamborghini is close to finally producing this luxury SUV. Below are the new pictures (some slight changes from the ones Ed posted up) as well as a video.
Short summary of the Lamborghini Urus:
Uses a twin-turbo V8 with 650 hp
0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds.
Max RPM is 6,800
4-wheel drive
5-passenger SUV
Base price is $200,000
So which PuristS here are going to get one? I'd love to get one but I need a larger 7-seater SUV.

It could have been a wildly exotic thing, a V12 at least but sanity and practicality prevailed unfortunately. Underwhelmed. Still like the Porsche Cayenne though. S

Big Grand Touring cars are the best. You've got comfort, handling, good looks, safety, and great speed capabilities. Don't forget to try the RR Wraith!
Unfortunaltely there is nobody that I know owning a RR Wraith ... it has to be again to be the first, I suppose :-)

Performance aside, IMHO, there isn't anything particularly special about the looks of it.
Park it in a row of other compact crossovers and it wouldn't stand out. Next to a Lavante, F-Pace, etc., it would blend right in. I get it that Lambo wants to capitalize on the hot segment and more capital is needed to continue to develop their sports car...
Without the name-tag ont he rear, I would have never recognized this to be a Lambo ....

.. but i guess this is just another VAG product on an existing SUV-platform. Engine choice might seem okay considering it has 600 hp .... but it should have been at least the NA V10 or even V12 .... but off course then it would not sell like it will now. ...
