Not sure I fully agree - Blancpain 50 Fathoms have very high end movements in them but are generally 11-12 mm thick. But I do like thin watches. As I own multiple ultra thin watches myself.
but it can also be worn pretty casually and intensively and I also like that (and don't mind the light scratches or hairlines which come with the intensive summer wearing).
