Still loving it
OK, I know that everyone has seen this piece before and that this week is about novelties -- but that isn't stopping me from appreciating my own small store of wonderful pieces! Thought you might enjoy this image that highlights the great teardrop lugs and the contrast between the RG case and the anthracite numerals and markers...
Photo taken with the Nikon 85mm PC-E tilt/shift lens -- for those who are interested in watch photograpy, I can tell you that moving to tilt/shift has been a revelation wrt to DOF and overall sharpness. And, the lens is a lot cheaper than a new watch for those of us whose businesses in 2009 were particularly elastic to economic conditions!

I have to say that I'm pleased that for many others the economic recovery is here and that purchases of luxury goods have resumed -- for me it may take a bit longer, so I'm having the opportunity to inspect and appreciate my existing pieces all the more! ...
