Spring Ritual!
Every Spring I look forward to visiting my mechanic, a really well known air-cooled Porsche specialist, to have him ready my 911 (993) C2S for the season. There are always crazy rare Porsches and race prepped cars, which I love seeing. Today I snapped a few photos. He had one extra special car on the shop floor -- the last Porsche bought by Steve McQueen-- but he asked that I not post any photos of it. It sold recently at auction for $2.3M and the new owner wanted him to go over the mechanicals. Anyway, here are some photos for your viewing pleasure.
