San Francisco Mini-Basel

Last Tuesday, on the evening of May 17th, I had the pleasure to attend a special Patek Philippe event in San Francisco hosted by Tiffany & CO. At this event, Patek Philippe took the opportunity to present the latest pieces from Baselworld 2011 to a lucky group of guests and watch aficionados.

All the usual suspects were present; the alluring 5270G, the clean 5496P, the 5064A, and the 6000R a piece I had an especially keen interest in. Some of you may know that it was the 6000G that started my love for Patek Philippe. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated 5208P was not present, would've very much liked to have seen this piece as it displays the capability and prowess that Patek Philippe is capable of.

The reception started with a special preview of the new timepieces, followed by a dinner, and hand-rolled cigars on the outdoor terrace. Please enjoy the photos of this very enjoyable event, many thanks to Patek Philippe and Tiffany & CO for hosting this wonderful and memorable event!
