Rolex Air King 2016, Ref 116 900.
A focus of the dial which I got from a press files picture I cropped.
There are few modern Rolexes which are in my wish list. This one is part of them, along with a GMT MASTER and the Deep Sea James Cameron.
This Air King is so un Rolex, with its original dial with this blend of numbers and touches of colors. It reminds me a bit the Milgauss GV.
It is such a cool watch!
I quickly saw it in the real, and my first impressions were confirmed.
Without doubt, I will get one, some day.

Don't look at the Yachtmaster II my friend, when I went for the event I had a chance to glance at the new Air King, like you I love the piece and it looks awesome, but one look and feel at
Yachtmaster II and its up there as my next addition :O
It is a great watch ...
but still cannot decide between this and the new explorer. Love the no-frills vibe and the full lume on the new exp, but the air king dial has a bit more oomph ... ...

The Deep Sea JC is really cool but alas quite large.
Both the BLNR and Air King are solid watches - I do wear the BLNR more though. ...

I look at Rolexes from quite far but the Air King and the Milgauss GV are very appealing indeed, as "original" models. I think I'd love a Daytona but I must say I would maybe enjoy these 2 a little more than the steel white dial and ceramic bezel model un...
