For those among us who wonder what can be an interesting collection of Rolex watches, here is an extract of a Catalog I found on the net.
From left to right: Explorer 1 1016, GMT 1675, Submariner 5513, and Daytona 6239.
Interesting to see how Rolex enlightens the Collectors Thoughts.
If you remember a post I put on line some weeks ago, with an extract of a catalog from the late 50ies, it was quite the same, as on this document, the Milgauss, the Submariner, the Explorer and the GMT were showed.
We could do the same nowadays, with the Explorer I or II, the GMT, the Dayto, the Submariner, and the Milgauss.
One big absent on this catalog from '66, the Milgauss.
We should also add an Air King, or a Date Just... JUst to be complete.
Interesting...
Best,
Nicolas
