Roger Smith is proudly continuing to carry the flame of George Daniels. Of modern English watchmaking at its finest. I met up with Roger at the fair and he had 2 watches to show.
He was wearing a Daniels Anniversery Watch. The production of this watch which was initiated by George Daniels at a very high age and to be produced by Roger is continuing unchanged despite George Daniels passing away last year. As planned from the beginning George provided the conception and Roger the production of this piece which is just beyond description
Furthermore Roger had one of his Series 2 Open Face models. Roger had always said that the under dial work is finished to the same degree as the bridge side work. With this watch we can see it. Decide for yourself.

The hard pill to swallow about RS is
that his prices are about double what Dufour asked... and about 40% more than Kari for time only watches... I see them all in the same league. I think RS is maybe the most desirable new independent watch made, for my taste anyway... but wow is it pricey. ...
