Questions on older Breguet (90's)

I'm considering a ref.3290 which I'm told dates to the 1990's.

I have a couple of questions on the watch - I've looked through Google images and have found varying examples but no links to anything detailing the evolution of this ref.

The serial number is only 3 digits - most other examples I can find online are 4.

I see 3 digit serials on some other models.

Is a 3 digit serial possible on this ref.?

The dial is marked SWISS - I have seen others marked with nothing and other with the longer guiloche engraving - again - is Swiss only correct for this ref and era?

I read on one post the Swiss only means the dial is stamped, however I was unable to verify that elsewhere.

The crown is plain and unsigned.

Some other models have the cabachon crown but it looks like the plain crown is okay?

I think the above all relate to it being a relatively early model but would like to find out more if possible.

Any comments or answers much appreciated.

I've included an image of the watch in question.

Thanks,

John
