Yes you should definitely try it on
Bear in mind that the straight lugs on a Breguet makes the watch wear larger than the 31mm so it is more likely to wear like a 34mm watch. Breguets were rarer in the 90s but in terms of quality, all I can say is that the guilloche dials were sublime but I cannot vouch for the movement since they were mostly with a solid case back.

I owned a similar Breguet in the 90s and the numberings were a lot lower as production was lower in the 90s ie before the Swatch group too over.
