Patek ellipse 3545
Hello Patek lovers!
I just picked this up from a Japanese seller on ebay... I love this retro-mod early 70's vibe, and it's great on my small wrist.
Sadly, it did not come with the ellipse buckle or original band. Can you tell me what is the proper size of the buckle for this era? I saw an ellipse white gold buckle online which is 11mm... but that seems too small?
I am looking to put this on a cognac color croc band, or order an abp in shagreen in blue to match dial. Your thoughts?

Geross, These cufflinks are on my wishlist... I have seen a few different versions offered online...Yours seem to be the newer model which is fabulous. Patek blue sunburst dials are magical and hypnotic. The keychain though....this seems like a cruel joke...
Pin buckles of an Ellipse are generally delicate sculptures
I have not measured the buckle of my 3738 J but I would guess it is also just 11 mm - 15 mm, if it is actually 15 mm at all. If the one you found fits to a fitting strap to the watch, then get that pin buckle.

black is not automatically "formal"
Often black is associated with "neutral", "technical", "dark". Give it a try. There is a reason why PP largely uses very dark colours, in particular black. Same as shoes.
