Geross, These cufflinks are on my wishlist... I have seen a few different versions offered online...Yours seem to be the newer model which is fabulous. Patek blue sunburst dials are magical and hypnotic. The keychain though....this seems like a cruel joke... 

I have not measured the buckle of my 3738 J but I would guess it is also just 11 mm - 15 mm, if it is actually 15 mm at all. If the one you found fits to a fitting strap to the watch, then get that pin buckle.

A wonderful watch. My thoughts: the shape of the case is unusual which lets the watch stand out. I would put a high gloss black croc strap on it to counterbalance the matte white gold, or a matte black strap in case you have the case repolished. Think of ... 

Your analogy is quite appropriate. The frame often makes the painting. In the case of Flemish old masters, the use of tortoiseshell frames really makes dark shiny paintings POP. This is why I am leaning towards going with a thin (no stitching) crocodile b... 

Often black is associated with "neutral", "technical", "dark". Give it a try. There is a reason why PP largely uses very dark colours, in particular black. Same as shoes.
