My first Patek
18K Gold Ellipse 31mm Quartz, I did not like the original strap that came with the watch (pic at the bottom) so I bought a new hazel brown strap and ellipse buckle from the latest model and it looks much better, the patek dealer who ordered the strap was supposed to open the watch so I could get the serial and model numbers but when I called back he said he had been too busy, does anyone know the model? and the years it was sold? this will be the first of many and I do not mind that this one is quartz and like the fact it has a date, any help would be great.

Many congratulations, you have a beautifull watch and your right about the strap and buckle. Not too impressed with your dealers response though.
the guy who ordered the strap was very....
..helpful as he phoned patek when I was there and the strap was ready the next day but he was off work when I went back.
