Panerai QC problem

Hi all,

Has reviewed a PAM 319 in Rose Gold, it is HUGE!!!!!

The watch is limited edition with production of 300 only and I have an impression that each must go with a strict QC testing as expected.

I have finally located this PAM 319 in an offical AD and tried to activate the chrono function. The first time to press those "start, stop and rest" buttons have no issue while the second time those buttons fail to operate any more. the chrono buttons seem have issue.... and I have no way except returning the watch back...... =(

As I have seen some posts about case water resistance issue as well, is Panerai has issue in its QC?? Watch designs are great but it will scar me if the QC does not maintain in industry standard.

Anyone can share your idea about?? Will the coming 368 has such issue??

maybe store employee or customer accidently dropped box or watch on floor/counter sometime. Way too many unknowns to even blame Panerai IMO. Cheers, Anthony

Thanks Anthony, The watch has 5 days power as I recall and seems that the chrono function does not work out. Tried another one and is same. Will that be so lucky to have both watches not working?? I plan to buy initially and really scare me after. I guess...

If the watches are not wound up, then the chronograph won't work. That's just too much of a coincidence for 2 watches to not work and have the same problem. - AT

Are you sure you operating it correctly? I had my 319 for sometime now , although i had only worn it a few times, but i do play with the chrono function quite often when i wear it, because i just love big sweep seconds!!! And there has never been any prob...
